This recently completed upfit transformed a 40-foot gooseneck trailer into a transport solution for an Airbus AS350B3 helicopter. Starting with an all-steel deck, we customized the trailer to accommodate the helicopter for road transportation, with an expanded landing area and dedicated storage.
Custom-manufactured, extra-wide flip-down landing wings temporarily increase the trailer’s landing area width. Two large, custom-built aluminum boxes provide separate storage for the rotor and tools.
The trailer features three 7,000-pound axles with air ride suspension and aluminum wheels, complemented by an air ride hitch.
